Saturday night saw the house compete in a range of silly games! Balloon battle was where it started - protect your balloon whilst popping everyone else's balloons. It then turned to spaghetti stacking - build the highest tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. Finally, malteser madness - blow a malteser along the ground floor corridor from the common room to the front door using only a straw.
It turned out Bertie (5) had hidden talents in all these areas and Ealye (6b) had the strongest lungs and best technique for the malteser madness (an impressive time of 1 minute 3 secs)!
Sunday then saw Miss Young host a cooking competition/challenge. The Shells in particular got involved and enjoud cooking up a storm!
The house then qualified for the Inter House General Knowledge Semi Finals after Half Term with a convincing win over Galpins. Well done to Cameron (6a), Archie (6b), Petro (5), Georgie (Re) and Billy (Sh).
It is nearly Half Term and we are looking forward to a rest!
