The first week back saw all sorts of things going on in house and lots of the boys were involved in impressive feats!
Saturday night saw a blind tasting competition take place! 16 flavours of crisps from Texas BBQ and Hot Honey to Cheddar and Red Onion and Caprese Salad had the boys on their toes and kept them guessing! Round two saw the boys blind tasting types of chocolate as well as flavours of coke. The boys scored points for recognising the most flavours across all three rounds! George and Erik (6b) were winners as they were able to pip Archie (5th) on a tie break with both naming 28 flavours accurately.

Earlier in the week our interhouse General Knowledge Team were victorious in the Semi Finals defeating Carlyon with Archie (6b) and Cameron (6a) driving the team forwards! It was sad that we lost in the final to a very strong Mitchinson's Team who then themselves went ont to defeat the Staff team and earn the whole school a home clothes day!

On Friday Elijah (6b) treated us to some beautifully played Chopin in the Friday at 5.15 concert. He played exquisitely and it was a lovely way to start to bring Friday to a close.

The end of the week on Sunday saw the GR vs TR Fyndon Cup take place as the two houses competed for the illustrious and prestigious trophy!
The Shells fought hard but with illness and injury in the ranks succumbed to a 3-1 loss.
The Remove and Fifth team scrapped and secured a 0-0 draw.
This left it to the 6b and 6a team who led till the final 4 minutes and drew 1-1 leaving GR with the overall win on matches won.
We go again at the Summer BBQ and look forward to fighting hard to regain the trophy!
